Detroit Lions radio play-by-play announcer Dan Miller was away from the booth during the team's Week 5 game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. His wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Miller, 63, had passed away in the days prior.
The Lions won the game, and coach Dan Campbell dedicated the game ball to Miller after the result. Quarterback Jared Goff also passed on a message to Miller following the final whistle.
